The R8’s 5.2-liter V10 produces 525 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque at 6,500 rpm. The 911 has only a 3.8-liter flat six. Of course, “only” is a relative term here, because the Porsche’s direct-injected mill delivers 500 horses and 480 lb-ft at a scant 1,950 rpm. Plus it weighs 165 pounds less than the mighty R8 Spyder.

Would you sacrifice the looks of the R8 Spyder for the performance of the 911 Turbo? Considering the odds of these two cars ever ending up at a stop light at the same time, I’d plunk my 150K (or so) on the Audi. Plus it looks easier to handle at high speeds.
