Its team of engineers crafted a new power kit that increases the flat-six engine’s output by 90HP and 120Nm for a total of 620-horsepower and 820Nm (604.8 lb-ft) of peak torque. The boost is achieved through a reprogrammed ECU, a free-flow air filter, a new manifold and a sport exhaust system.

According to TechArt, acceleration from zero to 100km/h (62mph) is trimmed from Porsche’s 3.3 second claim for the stock 911 Turbo S to 2.9 seconds on the tuned version. It can also get to 200km/h (124 mph) in just 9.3 seconds (down from 10.8) and ultimately reach a top speed of 333km/h (207mph), up from the standard model’s 315km/h (195mph).

The German tuners from Techart have developed a new package for Porsche 911 Turbo, this time targeting the Turbo S version of the iconic athlete from Stuttgart. The engineers team from Techart succeed to squeeze 90 HP and 89 lb-ft of torque by the six-cylinder boxer engine of the 911 Turbo S. The end result is a model which can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, while the standard version performs the same acceleration in 3.3 seconds. The acceleration time from 0-124 mph was reduced from 10.8 seconds for the standard version to 9.3 seconds for the Techart version.

The maximum speed of 911 Turbo S in Techart version is 207 mph, with 11 mph higher than the standard version of this model. How did the guys from Techart to obtaining these values from a Porsche 911 Turbo S? The Germans fitted a sports exhaust, new intake, a sports air filter and a reprogrammed ECU unit. The end result is a Porsche 911 Turbo S that provides 620 HP and 605 lb-ft. The maximum torque is offered between 3,500 and 5,000 rpm, while the maximum power is supplied at 6,500 rpm.

We have some great pictures and video of what might be the first real world drag racing pass of a Porsche 911 997.2 Turbo with the PDK transmission that making some test runs at Rock Falls Raceway, WI.  This Porsche 911 997.2 Turbo had been modified by EVOMS with quite an extensive list of upgrades.  The car is setup with a set of upgraded 65mm Billet turbochargers along with headers, free flowing cats,  70mm sport exhaust system and a custom tuned ECU by EVOMS to work with the upgrades.

Running on less than optimal 91 octane fuel and a Density Altitude (DA) of 2236 feet, their 911 Turbo ran 10.73 @ 129.7 MPH and hit 130+ MPH traps during another run.  Previously the only 1/4 mile times we have for a 911 Turbo with the PDK transmission was reported by a magazine with a stock car running 11.1 @ 129 MPH, which we seriously doubted was possible in the real world.  Another magazine tested the 911 Turbo with the 6 speed manual transmission running 11.7 @ 121.8 MPH which seems much more reasonable, although we expect the PDK would do better with it’s ultra fast dual clutch transmission along with it’s launch control setup.  We think stock 911 Turbo PDKs will probably run mid 11’s at 125 MPH in the real world.
