After the news that Porsche will go forward with prolongation of the 918 Spyder concept, and will put 3 electric Boxsters through contrast, Autocar tests the 911 GT3 R Hybrid. It’s interesting to note that Autocar describes it as the rarest and many worldly 911 ever built by Porsche, which gives us a little indication as to the earnest of Porsche’s investment in electric as well as hybrid technology.
The large subject for purists yet, is either the hybrid Porsche will ever be as great as an strange 911. The 911 GT3 R Hybrid is hugely technological and really absolute with a classical flat 6 engine giving 480 hp, to which another 160 hp is added to by the hybrid set-up. It’s quite extraordinary unequivocally – it looks like being in the simulator with all a electronics starting upon though you’re essentially flat-out upon a lane.
