After the news that Porsche will go forward with prolongation of the 918 Spyder concept, and will put 3 electric Boxsters through contrast, Autocar tests the 911 GT3 R Hybrid. It’s interesting to note that Autocar describes it as the rarest and many worldly 911 ever built by Porsche, which gives us a little indication as to the earnest of Porsche’s investment in electric as well as hybrid technology.
